Switzerland
The amount of the subsidy money is based on the setup you do. New Building who has integrated solutions often benefit from higher kickbacks. On existing buildings, the average is between 25-27% of the Total Cost of the System. Batteries are not part of it.
Europe, Middle East
While in Central Europe, the subsidy return is low, in Easter-Europe it is drastically higher. Some countries offer central managed applications, some local. The easiest way to figure it out, is to call to your House Electrician, sometimes their solutions may differ from the Solutions the Local Electricity Suppler has in Program, to your own benefit.
In Middle east, Caucasien regions, the subsidy reach for the total cost of owner ship 50%, but there is no grid-feed in compensation. Energy plants above 200 KWp will benefit from a grid-feed in rate.
How it works ?
When you start your Project, you define the amount of KW/h which you want to feed to the grid. You add some extra Panels for your Home Backup and choose an Hybrid-Grid Converter.
With the current rates for feeding the grid and the subsidy money, which covers around 25 - 50%of your total costs, based on the country you reside in, your entire installation gets paid within 2-7 years, depends on local environment, performance and local tariff plans Please note, that in most countries, only the PV Modules, Setup and Inverters are part of the Payback Program. Battery-Storage System are mostly not part of subsidy money.
