Time is the only constant in our lives. And it never stands still. While we have spent most of the last three years focusing on new software solutions in the cloud and home segment, this year was dominated by the new digital TV, the last update of which was three years ago.

All iQcom customers will receive a new remote control in the coming days.

  • And, of course, a new TV box is also available free of charge from iQcom.

As the data center has also undergone a technological upgrade, the old DigitalTV Box is no longer compatible with the new interfaces. You have the same functions as before, except that we are unfortunately unable to migrate your recordings due to the technology.

You can take your old TV box for recycling. iQcom has already paid the early recycling fee for you when you purchased the old boxes.

Smart TV's

For Android-based Smart TVs such as Sony, Samsung and LG, you can find the “ISP TV” app in the TV set's built-in app store.

This also applies to the AppleTV box or the AndroidTV (Chrome, Nokia boxes etc.) boxes from various manufacturers. So you can conveniently get all your media from just one setup box.

How can I watch TV abroad?

You can also access your favorite shows from abroad, preferably with a VPN from iQcom or directly on your FritzBox from iQcom. Unfortunately, the content rights do not allow worldwide access with a Swiss IP address. You need a VPN connection for this.
